Over the years we have created some more language around what we’re about and the mission we’re on. You can see this in some of the tabs below.
To be a passionate and excited group of believers growing in Christ; loving, caring and sharing with one another.
God has called Hope Church to be a family of believers united in showing grace, teaching our youth and new members, joyful passionate worship and walking together in our faith. A church where all feel loved, welcomed, and inspired to utilize their gifts, knowing that God can do abundantly more than we ever possibly imagine.

Passionate, Growing, Loving
We also still hold onto the original motto of Hope Church, as it explains why we have an anchor as our symbol: Anchored in Christ - living in hope to bring hope.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:12-13
There are many wonderful churches in the city of Thunder Bay, from different church denominations, that are following after Jesus like us. We appreciate the local and global partnership in Jesus that we have with all sorts of churches.
We are one of three churches in Thunder Bay that are Christian Reformed Churches (CRC). We would say that CRC is our accent, kind of like a language accent. If you’re interested in finding out more what that means, check out the CRCNA’s Website. (Christian Reformed Church of North America)
